Title: Stickers
Post by: fbushaw on April 03, 2012, 10:10:54 AM
Hey guys,
Does anyone have a good idea of what the best stickers are? We currently use laminated stickers, and they are not lasting very long. I was wondering if straight DF stickers might last longer. We are considering trying some, but I thought I would check in here, and see if anyone has some thoughts on this topic???

in my opinion the true Apitong (not sure if spelled correctly) is by far the best stick available. That is all we used for years but when the price went up we tried other types of asian hardwoods none of which were nearly as good as the apitong sticks. We now have gone to the lvl or hvl plywood sticks which cheaper up front but do not have anywhere near the durability as the apitong. So the question is due you really save money by using a cheaper stick? I personally don't think so but it's hard to convince upper mangement of that.  ;)
