Rough Mill Working Manager
Virginia
Salary will be commensurate with experience (40-45K+)

Responsibilities will include:

* Manage all production within rough mill area to meet required deadlines.
*Provide daily hands-on supervision of production personnel and processes
*Measure, track, and manage productivity
*Oversee production, RF Glue, Straight Lines, panel processing, raw materials.
*Continually improve efficiencies and quality.
*Oversee the overall cleanliness and organization of department.
*Reports directly to VP of Operations
*Oversee preventative maintenance activities within the rough mill.
*Team player

QUALIFICATIONS
*Understanding of lean manufacturing, pull systems, Kan Ban, OSHA
*Minimum 3 years management experience in a wood production environment
*Strong leadership and communication skills
*Panel Experience
*Proven track record in managing people and production
*Must be able to multi task at a fast pace, have an understanding that expediting is important, meet deadlines, set priorities, identify and solve problems.
*Enforce company policies and procedures
This is a hands on management position. You will be on the floor working closely with your employees.
