Plant Supervisor/Superintendent

We are seeking a very strong leader to fill the position of Plant Supervisor/Superintendent for a major Plant in the Midwest. We are looking for demonstrated leadership/management skills and success in a primary wood manufacturing environment, i.e.: dry kiln; sawmill. This is a division of a very cooperative large national company.
 
 
 
Will report to the General Manager of this plant of about 200 employees and be responsible for around 10-40 hourly employees depending on the individual.
 
 
 
Requirements:
 
•             Degree nice, but not mandatory
 
•             Extensive “Dry Kiln” or Saw Mill experience
 
•             Significant Production Management and Lumbering Experience
 
•             Strong Leadership skills a must
 
•             Lumber grading skills plus
 
 
 
There is plenty of upward opportunity from this position so the company will consider less look at all levels of candidates and plant size experience.
