I am hoping some seasoned kiln operators can share their experiences with dealing with seasonal changes relating to the effects they have on kiln drying charges.  I know depnding on the location, seasonal changes have a big impact on the wet and dry storage yard packages.  These also influence the overal drying value chain, and thus require that charges schedules be altered accordingly.  Can you describe what methods and practices are used to try and stay on top of these seasonal changes?

Thanks in advance,
Tim
